Benidorm with children
Many people think that Benidorm is mainly a destination for adults. Nothing could be further from the truth! Benidorm is a popular sun destination for all ages. So also for anyone who plans to go on holiday with children or the whole family. The beautiful, wide white sandy beaches that gradually slope into the sea and the sunny climate are perhaps the biggest attraction of Benidorm. But the pleasant walking promenade, the old center with nice shops and a wide variety of international and Spanish restaurants, cafés and terraces are also popular with holidaymakers. And if you are going with children, there are also numerous theme parks, amusement parks, zoos and other activities in Benidorm and the immediate surroundings that we can recommend.
Discover the most beautiful beaches and local attractions
Just 450 meters away, you’ll find the famous Levante Beach, where the kids can build sandcastles to their heart’s content. For families with younger children, the nearby Mal Pas Beach is highly recommended; here, the sea slopes very gently, making it extra safe. In addition to the beach, there’s plenty of adventure to be found in the immediate vicinity. Visit the Festilandia mini-amusement park on Avenida del Mediterraneo for an afternoon of rides and mini-golf, or get lost together in the enormous Laberinto Mazeland, a Mediterranean maze with spectacular views of the Benidorm skyline.
Festilandia & Laberinto Mazeland
On Av. del Mediterraneo, you'll find the mini amusement park Festilandia. Here, (young) children can enjoy various attractions, for which you can purchase tokens on-site. You can also enjoy a round of mini golf with the whole family.
Another adventure for the whole family is Laberinto Mazeland. This new 5,000 m² Mediterranean maze is suitable for all ages. It has two difficulty levels and several viewpoints for breathtaking views of the Serra Helada and the Benidorm skyline. After a walk through the maze and the Mediterranean garden, relax on the terrace of the café near the cactus garden.
Practical information
You'll find Laberinto Mazeland on Camí dels Torres in Benidorm. There is ample parking. The maze is also accessible by public transport. It is on the bus route from Benidorm to Alfaz del Pi.
Enjoy one of the amusement parks
You can really spoil your children with a visit to one of the amusement parks in Benidorm. Go to Aqualandia, Aqua Natura, Terra Natura, Terra Mitica, or Mundomar, for example. Building sandcastles on the beach
Gemelos 22 is just 450 meters from Levante Beach, where children can play endlessly and build sandcastles. Lifeguards are on duty, and there is various play equipment on the beach. The water at Llevante Beach deepens relatively quickly, so always be well supervised! A good alternative to Llevante Beach is the small Mal Pas Beach, where the beach slopes more slowly into the sea. There is also several nice play equipment on this beach.
